LegalLand AI – AI-powered land advisor and title verification system (Uganda)
LegalLand AI is an innovative project designed to modernize land management and legal advisory services in Uganda. Our team has collaborated to create an intelligent platform that helps citizens access accurate legal guidance, verify land ownership, and prevent fraud, all powered by advanced artificial intelligence.
The system uses RAG-based AI to provide reliable legal advice on land matters, and uses computer vision models (VIT and CNN) to authenticate land ownership with 99.9% accuracy. It is officially developed in partnership with the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development (Uganda) and Makerere University – College of Computing and Informatics.
Role: Lead Full Stack Developer, I worked on the full user interface and experience, ensuring that citizens could interact with powerful AI tools through a clean, fast, and intuitive platform. My contributions include:
- Building frontend architecture and user flows
- Designing intuitive UI/UX for legal advice and title verification
- Integrating AI endpoints into the frontend
- Ensuring performance, responsiveness and accessibility
- Leading development coordination among team members
